One of the world's biggest and most famous music festivals, Rock in Rio has now established a biennial routine for itself, alternating between Lisbon and its spiritual home in Rio de Janeiro each year.

In 2019, the City of Rock will be filled once more with the sounds of global music icons, not just from the world of rock but also pop, funk, soul, MPB, electronic music and more.

Steeped in history, with its own festival anthem, legendary fireworks displays and a list of past performers that reads like a who's who of modern music's biggest names, Rock in Rio is truly one of the giants of the festival world.
